Mikel Martin

Mikel Andrew Martin, 71 of Cartersville, passed away on May 10, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1953 to the late Dewey Martin and the late Josephine Reagan Martin. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother Rudy Martin.

Mikel was a hard worker. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Martin; daughters Lynn Roberson (Jimmy) and Amy Duncan (Kenneth); grandchildren Zach Brown, Zoey Roberson, David Ray, and Chelsea Martin, along with numerous other grand and great-grandchildren; and brothers Billy Martin and Leon Martin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Josh James officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Friday prior to the service.
