Mildred Moody

Mrs. Mildred Louise Canada Moody, age 81, of Rome, GA died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the residence.



Mrs. Moody was born in Rome, GA on January 5, 1929, the daughter of the late Edward L. Crocker and Naomi Moss Crocker. Mrs. Moody was a homemaker.



Survivors include her sons, Robert Canada of Rome, GA and Michael Canada of Fayetteville, GA; daughters, Joyce Jones and Debra Dillard both of Rome, GA; seven grandsons, three granddaughters and eleven great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 2:00 P.M in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. George Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at the Oaknoll Chapel.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers: Jonathan Canada, Michael C. Canada, Neil G. Baxter, Michael R. Baxter, Shane A. Baxter and Chris Austin.
