Mildred Wiggins

Mrs. Mildred Tate Wiggins, age 79, of Rome, GA, died November 26, 2008, in a local hospital.



Mrs. Wiggins was born in Floyd County, GA, the daughter of the late Charles Spurgeon Tate and Ida Frances Tudor Tate. She was a member of New Armuchee Baptist Church. Mrs. Wiggins loved to cook and enjoyed making crafts. In addition to her parents Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Wiggins and a brother, Bryan Tate.



Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Doris Wiggins of Lindale, GA; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherri Wiggins of Rome, GA and Teresa and Dennis Shoaf of Cave Spring, GA; two grandchildren, Heather Shoaf and Matthew Shoaf both of Cave Spring, GA; and a brother, Charles Tate of Newnan, GA.



Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Holsomback officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends Friday from noon until the funeral hour in the Oaknoll Chapel.
