Mrs. Myrna R. Walden, 58, of Euharlee passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 5, 1950 in Mayfield, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jack Ray.
Myrna had been employed as an assistant project engineer with Skanska USA. She was also a member of the United Church of God and International Association. Though her battle has been won and her pain has ended, Myrna will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Myles Walden; her children, Alana Jo Walden of Orlando, Florida and her twins, Jenny Mae Walden of Lakewood, Colorado and Jesse Ray Walden of Sanford, Florida; her mother, Hilda Roper Ray; her only grandchild, Cheyenne Moron; her sister, Shira Hamilton of Evergreen, Colorado; her brothers, Jim Ray of Columbus, Indiana and Myron Ray of Mayfield, Kentucky; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donnie Walden of Fyffe, Alabama, Ann Patterson of Huntsville, Alabama, Lynda Bechthold of Orangevale, California, Hugo Walden of Mount Dora, Florida, and Debbie White of Scottsboro, Alabama.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2009 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Roy Holliday officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. During these difficult economic times, the family requests no flowers and only your fond memories of Myrna.
