Myrtle Powell

Myrtle Stancil Powell, 89, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Maple Ridge Health Care Center. Born October 14, 1920 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Stancil and the late Susan Willis Stancil. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Powell.



Survivors include her nephew and his wife, P.J. and Brandee Hamby of Acworth; her nieces, Trina Hamby and Toni Lester; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.



Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth with Rev. Dan Willis officiating.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
