Nancy Day

Nancy Day, 70, of Cartersville died Saturday, October 03, 2009 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Gordon County on September 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John Hall and the late Pearl Meadows Hall. Preceding her in death are her husband, John Day; sister, Betty Hall; her brother, Gordon Hall; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Day, Jr., and Nancy Day.



Nancy was employed by the Cartersville Police Department as a guard. She was also a member of the Open Bible Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed collecting bell and angels, watching wrestling, and loved a good cup of coffee.



Survivors include her children; Cathy and Willie Jensen of Cartersville, Lisa Payne of Calhoun, Brenda and Brit Elkins of Cartersville, Ashley and Terrance Hollaman of Cartersville, Wesley and Lena Day of Euharlee, John Day of Cartersville, and Jonathon day of Cartersville; grandchildren, John Day, Keri Day, Seana Day, Joshua Day, Brittony Elkins, Kellie Elkins, Johnny Elkins, Jessie Elkins, Christopher Freeman, Jeremy Freeman, Jody Hollaman, Madison Hollaman, Kyndall Hollaman, Blaine Day, Jarred Day, Cady Day, Avery Day, Casey Day, Cheyenne Robson, Kimberly Housley, Tabitha Housley, Brandi Waits, Tyler Waits, Cody Farner; great- grandchildren, Kevin Carnes, Jr., and Mischa Perez; brother, Sterling Hall of Jasper; and sister Emma Mulkey of Calhoun.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 Sunday and Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville GA 30120.
