Nancy Upshaw

Nancy Ann Upshaw, 80, of Cartersville, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Cartersville Heights Health & Rehab. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Garland F. Upshaw and Leona Smith Upshaw.
In Mrs. Upshaw's working years, she enjoyed being a waitress. During her later years she enjoyed playing the piano in church and at Cartersville Heights. She also love doing word search puzzles and chocolate frosty's. For many years, she enjoyed playing bingo with her mother, her friend and neighbor, the late Inez Hightower and her longtime friend, Cozette Hightower.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Riggins and cousin, Betty Jo Stephen.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Memory Gardens.
