Nell Frix

Nell Kilgore Frix, 81, of Cartersville Georgia, sadly passed away at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center on November 26, 2021.

Born on March 17, 1940 in Kingston, Georgia, Nell was the daughter of the late Herschel & Hattie Kilgore. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Ernest Thomas Frix, as well as her siblings; Tommy Kilgore, Evelyn McCoy, and Joyce Price, and granddaughter, Christy Payne.

Nell is survived by her children Daryl Frix (Dale), Glenda Richardson (Phil), and Sandy Collins (Wayne.) She is also survived by her siblings; Melvin Kilgore, Sheryl Harris, and Pat Purser, her grandchildren; Robbie Hufstettler, Jeremy Richardson, Mandy Crone, and Jennifer Underwood, as well as several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Nell loved flowers, roses in particular, and was an avid gardener and homemaker. She loved her children and her family dearly and will be sorely missed.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Kingston City Cemetery in Kingston, GA. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm on Thursday, December 2, 2021 prior to the funeral service at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
