Nell Wiseman, 76, of Acworth, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born May 24 1936 in Rome, she was a daughter of the late Jeddy S. Light and the late Mildred Frances Ashworth Light. Mrs. Wiseman was a member of Sunrise Community Church, and enjoyed playing women's softball. She also enjoyed working, fishing, painting, sewing, and raising her kids. She loved her dogs and loved to play games on the computer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Wiseman; a grandson, James Kurtz; and a sister, Fay Duke. In loving memory of all her children.
Survivors include her children, Julie Thomason, Brenda Kurtz, Jeff Wiseman, and Theresa Harper, all of Acworth; grandchildren, Jonathan Renfro of Texas, William Renfro of Woodstock, Melissa Thomason of Acworth, and Shelby Harper of Acworth; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Francis Maxine Light Jones, Nancy Aliene Light, Patsy Ann Light Wood, Jerry Maxwell Light, Fredda Carlene Light McCrickard, William Donald Light, Carol Sue Light Ash, Debbie Jean Light Mitchell, Roxie Lynn Light Weesner, and Elizabeth Gail Light Bennett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Brother Chip Smith and Minister Marcus McCrickard officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
