Nicholas Musacchio, age 52, passed on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Cartersville, Georgia. Nick was born in Chardon, Ohio on November 11, 1973, and, as he tells it, moved to California when he froze to the ground under his truck. There he met Cathy (Crews), and they later married in 2000.
Family was the highest point of Nick’s life. His marriage and love with Cathy were the most important thing in his life. He would often say he was the most proud of his daughters, Alexis and Jaden, and the life they created. Nick loved being a husband, a father, and, recently, a grandpa.
Nick had his happiest times cooking for the ones he held close, sharing his love through the food he made. He could be found outdoors, typically at Windrock or Lake Allatoona, or in the garage fixing problems no one else could. Nick loved his people, from his friends through Yamaha, BBQ, and everywhere in between to his family; and his people always knew he would do anything for them. His infections laugh, smile, and love sit close to the heart for us all.
Nick was preceded by his father, Nicholas Musacchio; and grandparents Nicholas Musacchio, Helen Musacchio, Olga Bruening, and Raymond Bruening.
Nick is survived by his wife, Cathy, his daughters, Alexis and Jaden, and his granddaughters, Berkeley and Clara. He leaves behind his parents, Sharon and Al House and Denise Musacchio, sister, Ashley Musacchio, nephew Brady Acuff, and niece Rose Acuff.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Nicholas’ life on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at 320 W. Cherokee Avenue, Cartersville, Georgia. Those who knew and loved Nicholas are invited to join his family in celebrating his life, legacy, and memories he shared.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Nicholas Musacchio.
