Norma Clogston

August 31, 1934 — March 23, 2010

Norma June Clogston, 75, of Adairsville passed away Tuesday, March 23, 20l0 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born August 31, 1934 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Hulbert Lorne Tingley and the late Naomi Blanche Brasier.



Mrs. Clogston enjoyed the simple things in life like watching "Little House on the Prairie," reading, having her pie and coffee, and riding around looking at cows. She also collected and raised exotic birds.



Survivors include her daughter, Kim West; her step-children, Antoinette V. Smith of Kennesaw, Renee Frances Smith of Buchanan, Laurie Hatmaker of Adairsville, Mary GiGi Roberts of Cartersville, Laurence David Clogston, II of Macon, Kelly Crider of Acworth, and James David Clogston of Emmett, Idaho; her brother and sister-in-law, Ford Gilbert and Josephine Tingley of Westboro, Massachusetts; her sisters and brother-in-law, Lorna May and Neilon Rowan of College Station, Texas, and Myrtle Gladys and Don Bernard; fourteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.



A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the residence of Laurie Hatmaker, 26 Westover Drive NW, Adairsville, GA 30103.



Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120 is serving the family of Norma June Clogston.
