Mrs. Norma Jean Hughes, 87, of Cartersville, widow of the late James Glenn Hughes, died Friday, July 06, 2012 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain.
Born December 24, 1924 in Mill Creek Township, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Russell Kern and the late Bethavena Holland Kern. Mrs. Hughes was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenna Krongold and son-in-law, Martin Krongold of Acworth; brothers, Raymond Kern of Shelbyville, Illinois, and Lowell Kern of Alabama; and two grandsons, Greg Krongold, and Kurt Krongold.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Illinois.
The family suggests that those who wish may make donations to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in memory of Mrs. Hughes.
