Norma Ann Croker Mead, 83, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1939, in Atlanta Georgia to the late Lewis Edward Croker and the late Beulah Mae Clodfelter Croker. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her former husbands, Al Mead, Billy Roberson, and Jerry R. Hosea, Sr.; adopted son, Barry "Red" Allen Taylor; sister, Nancy McDowell (Joe); grandson, Cross Hosea; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Hosea.

Survivors include her sons, Sandy Hosea (Lynn) and Buck Hosea (Janice); step-son, Bill Mead (Elizabeth); step-daughter, Elizabeth Sullivan; sisters, Sheryle Roach (Jimmy) and Anita Croker; grandchildren, Morgan Walker (Sonny), Megg Stanley (Blake), Jerry "Little Buck" Hosea (Taylor), Dustyn "Dusty" Lewis Hosea (Brittany), Zack Moss, Hannah Moss, Georgia Ann Mead; 5 great-grandchildren; special sons, Ken "Chunky" Dowd and Pete Kontoes; and special daughter, Dena Hosea.

Norma loved her family and friends well. Her doors were always open at the beach, and she enjoyed going crabbing. She had a passion for cooking, gardening and reading. Norma was a member of Pawley's Island Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Mermaids.

Norma Ann Croker Mead's family and friends will be having a private memorial gathering in Pawley's Island, South Carolina in November.
