Norman "Norm" Bailey Armstrong

March 19, 1934 — February 22, 2024

Norman Bailey Armstrong 89, passed quietly from complications of Alzheimer's, February 22,2024 in  Chattanooga, TN.

Born  March 19,1934, Waitsfield, Vermont, "Norm" spent his youth working the family farm, then attended Academy in Union Springs, NY.

He was Seventh day Adventist, accepting Jesus at a young age. He worked as EMT, painter and truckdriver.

Long time residents of Cartersville, Ga.  He and (wife)  Margie, upon retiring from long haul trucking, enjoyed visiting Navarre Beach, Florida.

Norm loved birds, reading, music, camping, gardening  and woodworking. Crafting and playing dulcimers were a passion.

Survived by: Wife, Margie Armstrong, Chattanooga,  TN. Brother, Clyde Armstrong), Shelton, WA. Daughters, Pamela Bookout ( Mark),Chattanooga, TN,  Terri James (William),Ringgold, GA. Stepchildren, Dan Lunceford (Jenny), Manchester, MD.

Sharon Powell ( Jeff), Lexington, KY and Sally Jo Wilkins, Colorado.

9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Preceded by: parents, Willis and Dora (Aldrich) Armstrong, brothers, Edward and Eugene Armstrong .  sister, Cynthia Rogers, Vermont.
