Mr. Norman �Lee� Williams, age 58, of 122 Malone Drive, Rome, Ga died Thursday, July 2, 2009 in a Rome hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Wilmington, N.C. on August 28, 1950 the son of the late Ead Norman Williams and Mary Harriet Humphrey Allen Williams. Prior to ill health he was employed in the construction business. Mr. Williams enjoyed playing his guitar and listing to music which included bluegrass, rock n� roll and gospel. In addition to his parents Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Irene Williams and by his second wife, Marie Williams.
Survivors his daughters Jamie (Jason) Jennings, Leslie (Chad) Edwards and Kathy Brown; grandchildren, Carrie, Kelsey, Myra, Brittany, Alyssa and Amanda; brothers, Ead N. Williams, Jr. and Tommy Wayne Williams.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Jarrod Roberts officiating. Interment to follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home.
