Mrs. Obedale Lamb, age 73, of Acworth, Georgia, regrettably passed away at her home on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Obedale was born on July 26, 1950, in Marietta, Georgia but her life truly began 36 years ago the day she married the love of her life, Leslie Lamb. For Obedale, finding Leslie felt like someone put "a circle of lights around her heart." Leslie gave Obedale a purpose in life and was her reason for living.
She had a magnetic personality that drew everyone towards her. She was wise, kind, and silly, always loving and advising everyone she met. She was so well liked; she could get away with just about anything from minor pranks on her coworkers to big ones on her wife Leslie. She had a lot of fun teasing and picking at her younger coworkers who were very fond of her. They had nicknames for her such as "Obelicious" and "Chicken Fingers" (because her hands were so tiny!) She was a very "huggy" person and loved to give love. She will be missed terribly as she brought so much joy to the lives of others, but she will never be forgotten by them.
Obedale is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Julia White, as well as all her "fur babies."
Survivors include her wife and love of her life, Leslie Lamb; her brothers William Lamb (Stephen Ward) and Steven "Esteban" Lamb (Melody); and several adopted children, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Obedale in March, 2024.
