Ola Fricks

Ms. Ola Marie Fricks age 82, of Rome, GA, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010.



Ms. Fricks was born in Floyd County, GA, on April 8, 1928, the daughter of the late Durand O. Fricks and Pearl Satcher Fricks. She worked for Champion Garment for forty-two years. Mrs. Fricks was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for a number of years and later belonged to the Love Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents Ms. Fricks was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel J. Fricks.



Survivors include her twin brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Monte H. Fricks and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera and Mahlon Busby and Barbara and Bob Anglea all of Rome, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Dr. Dale Levan officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.



The Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Oaknoll Chapel.
