Olen Goocher, 84 years old of Marietta, GA, passed away January 17, 2015. He was the son of the late Ollin Goocher Sr. and Sally Goocher. Olen graduated from Blakely Union High School in Early Co, GA and served in the Navy from 1947-1951 in Hawaii and retired from Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in 1987. He enjoyed boating, skiing, fishing and camping. He loved taking care of his family, home and working in his yard; and helping others.
Survivors include the following children: daughters, Debra (Gary) Morgan of Marietta, Sharon Goocher of Smyrna; son, Louis Goocher (Monta) of Fairburn; a twin brother Ollin Goocher Jr. of Marietta, GA; sister, Mrs. Faye G. Lewis of Damascus, GA; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His body will be cremated and a memorial service set up at a later date in Blakely, GA.
