Orville Williams

Orville Williams, 78, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on January 29, 2022 at his residence.

Born on February 5, 1943, he is the son of the late Vaughn Williams and the late Nannie Guyton Williams. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Idella Williams; siblings, Harold Williams, Gene Williams, Junior (Polly) Williams, Frances (Odie) Abernathy, and Shirley (Otis) Bagley.

Survivors include his daughter, Vivian (Freddy) Mulkey; grandchildren, Vanessa (Jake) Davis, Holly Gayton, and Kevin (Connie) Mulkey; great grandchildren, Angie (Tye) Crow, Trenton Davis, Abby Gayton, Zane Mulkey, Mason Davis, and Jaxon Mulkey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Orville was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and camping.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Catherine Wood and Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tye Crow, Jake Davis, Trenton Davis, Kevin Mulkey, Ben Stiles, and Charlie Stiles. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Williams and Thomas Bagley.
