Pat Hamrick

Mrs. Pat Hamrick, 60, of Calhoun passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Born in Cartersville on May 2, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Earnest James Beaver and the late Eva Gayton Beaver. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Roberson. Pat was a homemaker whose life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She loved her family and friends greatly and enjoyed keeping up with them via computer. Pat loved Christmas and angels and attended Russell Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Lamar Hamrick of Calhoun; her daughters and son-in-law, Dondra Abernathy of Calhoun and Brandy and Russell Long of Adairsville; her grandchildren, Aiden Long, River Abernathy, Raghn Abernathy and Allorah Long; her sisters and brother-in-law, Karen and Doug Kirby of Cartersville and Tammy Mathison of Cartersville; her brothers and sister-in-law, Larry and Jeanette Beaver of Cartersville and Carlos Beaver of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Creekside Fellowship Church, 585 Old Alabama Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120 with the Reverend Michael Abernathy, Reverend Joe Hall and Reverend Ricky Langston officiating. Mrs. Hamrick will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews Wayne Roberson, Greg Roberson, Brian Beaver, Chad Beaver, Casey Beaver and Justin Kirby. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be River Abernathy, Aiden Long, Doug Beaver, Jim Langston and Jason Hamrick.
