Ms. Patricia Carol Gore, 72, of Cartersville, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Winthrop Manor in Rome.
Born December 24, 1940 in Van Buren, MO, she was the daughter of the late Norman Jake Hanger and the late Fern Carolyn Marshall. Ms. Gore was of the Christian Faith and worked for many years as a church secretary. She loved people and caring for her children and her parents. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Gore.
Survivors include her sons, Chris Gore and his wife Shelley of Cartersville, and Robert Gore and his wife Paula of St. Louis, MO; brother, Kenneth Hanger of Catoosa, OK; grandchildren, Josh Gore, Jared Gore, Kyra Gore, Adam Gore, Matthew Gore, and Maggie Gore; and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, ATTN: Gift Processing, 1687 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329, in memory of Patricia.
