Mrs. Patricia Ann Greene, 69, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Thomaston, Georgia on September 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Carl Truiett Lowry and the late Evelyn Melissa Glanton Lowry.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Lamar Greene and her son, Richard Greene. Mrs. Greene enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, traveling, playing games on her phone, playing with her dogs and especially enjoyed the company and the closeness she shared with her sister, Gail. Patricia was retired and volunteered her time at the American Red Cross.
Survivors include her daughters, Norma Clark of Cartersville and Missy McArthur of Villa Rica; her sons, Michael Greene of Cartersville, Robert Greene of Euharlee, Joe and Jeff Greene both of Cartersville; her sister, Gail Midgett of Dallas; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Bobby Cheek and Pastor Daryl Golden officiating. Interment will follow in the Euharlee Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Patterson, Morris Harbin, Kevin McArthur, David Flowers, Chris Raimey and Michael Midgett.
