Patricia Smith

Mrs. Patricia Ann Smith, age 65, of 1321 Radio Springs Road, Rome, GA passed away on Sunday morning, January 24, 2010, in a local hospital.



Mrs. Smith was born in Cherkoee County, AL on January 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Dexter Bishop and Ora Ashley Bishop. In addition to her parents Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Wood and a brother, Bobby Bishop.



Survivors include her husband, Jeff Smith of Rome, GA; two sons, Mitchell Wood of Cedar Bluff, AL, and Robert and Wanda Wood of Rome, GA; a daughter, Ann wood Cyr of Rome, GA; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Christa Bishop of Cedartown, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Bobby Allmon of Rome, GA; and eight grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at 1:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel with Rev. Joe Champion officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.



The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.
