Patrick Shea

Patrick Allen Shea, 30, of Cartersville passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the Cartersville Medical Center after complications from his lifelong battle with cerebral palsy. Patrick was born premature weighing 2 lbs. on June 22, 1978 at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal Allen Shea; his step-father, Kenneth Adcock; his grandfathers, John Shea and Herman Hardigree; and his nephew, Tarquin Adcock.



Survivors include his mother, Patsy Adcock; his step-father, Russell Mulkey; his sisters, Kensy Adcock, Kelly Shea, and Bridgett Shea; his grandmother, Martha Hardigree; his aunts, Robin Edwards and Samantha Dyer, both of Watkinsville; his uncles, Michael Shea and Keith Shea, both of Athens; his nephews, Drake and Jeffrey; his niece, Melody; several cousins; and his special friend and caretaker, Lisa Warcup.



Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Michael Hornbuckle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
