Patsy Pearce

Patsy J. �Burns� Pearce, age 62, of Cartersville, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, she was born Dec. 22, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Will Burns, Jr. and the late Mamie Jewel Simpson. She was a member of Center Baptist Church. Patsy enjoyed going to yard sales and playing with her grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents and one brother Kenneth Burns.

Survivors include her children, Michelle Moore and husband Kenny, of Cartersville, Mary Kennedy and husband David of Buford, Shawn Sullivan and wife Tara of Bethesda, MD; her sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Burns Chapman and husband, Avery of Cartersville; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Nancy Burns of Kingston, Barry and Cathy Burns of Cartersville and Joan Burns of White; her grandchildren, Patrick and Crystal Chapman, Nick Moore, Cameron Moore, Brittany Robinson and Jesse Robinson; her great-great-grandchildren, Grady Sullivan and Stormi Chapman; a special aunt, Vera Andrews; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville.
