Pauline Sharpe

August 7, 1944 — May 18, 2009

Pauline Hale Sharpe, 64, of Cartersville died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Cartersville Medical Center after a brief fight with cancer. Born August 7, 1944 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Willie B. Brawner and the late Essie Inez Godfrey Brawner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eugene Hale, Sr.; her son, Johnny Dean �Casey� Hale; a sister and several brothers.



Pauline was of the Baptist faith and was known as a loving homemaker. She enjoyed her flowers and watching gospel on T.V., and truly loved her grandchildren.



She is survived by her children and their spouses, Vernon �Bull� Hale and Tammy of Carterville, Nancy Mohon of Cartersville, Dorothy and Glenn Haney of Silver Creek, and Peggy Whitener of Aragon; her brothers, Clifford Brawner of Cartersville, and Jimmy Brawner of Cartersville; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.



Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville with the Rev. Charles Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
