Pearl Terry

Mrs. Pearl Mae Terry, age 81, of 15 Phillip Vann Drive, Rome, GA, died Sunday morning, May 28, 2006, at her residence.A native of Rome and Floyd County, Mrs. Terry was born on May 25, 1925, the daughter of the late Bill and Florence Salmon. She was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the New Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Terry was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Terry, a daughter, Sara Jane Terry, a son, Donald Terry, two brothers, Albert and Junior Salmon, and a sister, Betty Seagle.Mrs. Terry is survived by three sons, Herman Terry and John Terry, both of Rome, and Robert Terry of Fort Payne, AL; one brother, Gordon Salmon of Tucker, GA. Eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Terry will be held this (Monday) evening at 6 p.m. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with her Pastor, Rev. John Huffman, officiating.
