Mr. Phillip Bryan Amos, age 53, passed away on August 6, 2018 at his La Junta home surrounded by his loving wife and friends. He was born on Feb. 6, 1965 in Rome, Georgia to Betty Porter Amos and the late Robert Amos.
Phillip graduated from Cass High School in 1985. He was a grill cook for Waffle House, Carpet Mill worker, and a telephone utility locator for Bell South. He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, ACS Pool League, and the Arkansas Valley Community Cancer Support Group. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Amos and brother, Michael Amos.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Tracy of La Junta , Colorado; daughter, Tiffany Duvall of Cassville, Georgia; son, Colt Amos of Alpharetta, Georgia; mother, Betty Amos of Kingston, Georgia and his sister, Diane Tucker of Kingston.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, August 08, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel in La Junta, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
