Phyllis Adams, 89, of White passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her residence.

Born on September 29, 1930 in Sheffield, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late George Prentiss Agar, Sr. and the late Helen Love Agar. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Adams, Jr.; and her brother, George Prentiss Agar, Jr.

Phyllis was employed by Revco Drugs until her retirement. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. She was an avid Braves fan and enjoyed doing puzzles, watching gameshows and watching General Hospital.

Survivors include her children, Jim Adams of White, Susan Buckner (Tim) of Taylorsville, and Jean Adams Thomas (Estill) of Rome; her grandchildren, Travis Fuqua of Cartersville, Hannah Elizabeth Buckner of Smyrna, Clayton Timothy Buckner of Taylorsville, Samantha Joy Thomas of Rome, and Benjamin Paul Thomas of Rome; her great-grandchildren, Austin Neal Thomas of Euharlee, and Dawson James Thomas of Rome; her sister, Audrey Agar Olszewski (Eddie) of Lennox, MA; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens at a later time.
