Mrs. Phyllis Cagle, 59, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at her residence, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 26, 1954 in Floyd County she was the daughter of the late Eugene Ponder and the late Gertrude Cantrell Ponder. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Branton; and her brother, Kenneth Ponder. Mrs. Cagle was a homemaker and a member of Atco Baptist Church who loved taking care of her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of forty two years, Rick Cagle; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Chris Harrelson of Kingston and Kelli and Adrian Harris of Cartersville; her brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Peggy Ponder of Cartersville; her sisters and brothers-in-law, June and Hugh Boss, Jr. of Cartersville, Carolyn Wolf of Cartersville and Annette and John Carroll of Kingston; her grandchildren, Taylor and Anna Harrelson, Rylie and Luke Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Atco Baptist Church with the Reverend Michael Abernathy and the Reverend Michael Boatfield officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Ponder, Joseph Ponder, Mauro Wolff, Ricky Branton, Matt Carroll and Nicholas Wade.
