Phyllis Wylene Gentry, age 62, passed away on January 10, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital in Cartersville, Georgia. She was born January 18, 1959 in Cartersville, Georgia to the late Calvin Eugene Gentry and the late Lillian Cagle Gentry.
Phyllis always had a smile on her face a kind word for everyone. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and her dog Cassie.
She is survived by her stepmother, Mary Gentry; brother, Jimmy Popham Sr; her sister, Darlene (Vic) Woodall; and many loving friends and family members to cherish her memory.
A funeral service to honor Ms. Phyllis Gentry will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 3:00 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 17, 2022 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
A graveside funeral service will be held at a later date.
