Phyllis June Nelson (Vogt)

Phyllis June Nelson

Born to the late Lloyd and Vella Vogt on December 14, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas.

Graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Music, she taught music to elementary students throughout her career.

She married James Nelson on June 21st, 1966 in Wichita, Kansas, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1967.

Phyllis became the mother of Kelly Nelson on March 20, 1971. She moved to Junction City, Kansas in 1983, and was involved in Church and the local theatre.

Survivors include her son, Kelly Nelson and his wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Jesse Nelson (Nikki) and Jamie Nelson; and great-great grandchildren, Nathan and Lil Mikey.
