Queen Heather Rochelle Perkins

May 30, 1977 — April 2, 2024

Queen Heather Rochelle Perkins, age 46, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born as royalty on May 30, 1977, in Sumter, South Carolina, Queen Heather was the daughter of Ronald B. Griffith Jr. & the late Mary Elsteroth. She is also preceded in death by her great-niece Braylen McDaniel; her paternal grandparents Ronald B. Griffith Sr. & Doris Ann Griffith; and her maternal grandparents C.W. Elsteroth & Noeline Elsteroth.

Those left behind to remember Queen Heather are her devoted husband of 13 years, Kevin James Perkins; her father Ronald B. Griffith Jr., her sisters Natalie Buttrum (Dewayne), Desiree Griffith, and Charissa Koziar; her nieces Brittany McDaniel (Brandon), Destiny Buttrum, and Alexus Buttrum; her nephew William Buttrum; her great-nieces Taylor McDaniel, Mia McDaniel, and Everly McDaniel; her beloved fur baby Romeo; as well as several aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

Queen Heather was such a positive force of love and light and she spread joy to everyone she met. She always put others before herself and was passionate about caring for those around her, especially her nephew, nieces, and great-nieces. Queen Heather loved life and loved manifesting happiness for herself and her family; a characteristic of hers they will miss terribly. She loved to travel and always dreamed of visiting Scotland. She enjoyed the mountains and had a special place in her heart for Wyoming, where she lived for 7 years of her life. She also collected tiaras, wore them everywhere she went, and referred to them as her "sparkle medicine." Her fur-baby Romeo was incredibly special to her, and she was the best part of her loving husband, Kevin. Queen Heather left a little bit of sparkle with everyone she knew and for that, she will be forever cherished.

Queen Heather's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Her family asks that all attendees wear vibrant colors as this is not a funeral, but a celebration.
