Ralph Ingram, Jr.

Mr. Ralph Thomas Ingram, Jr. 69, of Austell, formerly of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Kathy Cares Hospice. A native of Bartow County, Mr. Ingram was born January 21, 1943 to Wilma Ingram and the late Ralph Thomas Ingram, Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ingram.
Mr. Ingram was a simple man with a good and honest heart. He enjoyed his work, car racing of all kinds, and his day was not complete unless he spoke with his granddaughter, Julie on the phone each night before bedtime.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Dorothy Ingram of Austell; his mother, Wilma Ingram of Dallas; his sister, Linda Harbour of Marietta; his brother, Jimmy Ingram of Dallas, his son, Barry Thomas of Dallas; two grandchildren; and his step-daughter, Cynthia Christopher of Dallas.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in the Taylorsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
