Reba Reed

Mrs. Reba Reed, 92, of Cartersville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 13, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Villa Rica January 31, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joe C. Moore and the late Ida Mae Browning Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Emmett Hullen Reed, Sr. who died in 1987; her son-in-law, Thomas Siniard; and two brothers, Willie and Ollie Moore.



Mrs. Reed was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother.



She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Siniard; her son and daughter-in-law, Emmett Reed, Jr. and wife, Janice all of Cartersville; three grandchildren, Brian Reed, Corey Reed, and Tonya Vaughan; and six great- grandchildren, Jessica, Sydney, Victoria, Zachary, Leila and Emmie.



Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Mark Somers officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Reed, Corey Reed, Shane Vaughan, Hugh Elrod, Mickey Reed and Zachary Reed. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
