Regina Nell James, 73, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 09, 2023, at Maple Ridge Nursing Center.

Born on December 19,1949, she was the daughter of the late Huell and Kathleen (Lewis) Simpson. Regina was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry James; her son, Chuck Knox; her grandson, Cody Woodall; and her siblings, Glenda Evans, and Spot Simpson.

Regina is survived by her son, Rafe Woodall; and her grandchildren, Tamra Woodall, Drew Knox, Brodi Knox, and Dustin Rogers.

A funeral service to celebrate Regina's life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00 am in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
