Reverend Elmer "Bo" Gentry

Reverend Elmer "Bo" Gentry, 83, of Cartersville passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Taylorsville on May 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Wesley Gentry and the late Lilly Evans Gentry. He was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Wesley Gentry; his daughter, Vickie Selena Gentry; and his brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Gentry; his children, Sherry Gentry, and Mark Gentry; his grandchildren, Trey Gentry, Hannah Craig (Austin), Canan Jones, Christal Townsend, Ashley Couch, Virgil Gentry, Levi Gentry, and Melissa Gentry; several great-grandchildren; his aunt, Ruth Gentry; and his special friend, Joe Tilley.
Bo worked as a carpenter by trade for over 56 years.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, 26 Stoners Chapel Rd. NW, Adairsville, GA 30103.
