March 7, 1963 — May 15, 2009

Rhetta Hardin Watts, 46, of Cartersville died Friday, May 15, 2009 at her residence after an extended battle with cancer. Born March 7, 1963 in Bartow County, she was the daughter of Robert Douglas Hardin and Martha Edwards Hardin.



Rhetta had been employed by Dr. Lance Barry as an office assistant. She was also on staff at Oak Leaf Church of Cartersville where she served as a volunteer director. Rhetta�s life exemplified Christ and Oak Leaf Church�s mission statement to help lead people from where they are to where God wants them to be. She loved her Savior and her family.



Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Eldon Watts; her daughters and son-in-law, Hannah Watts and Tiffany and Kyle Troop; her parents, Doug and Martha Hardin; her sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Allen Juhan of Cartersville; her grandmother, Curdie Hardin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.



A memorial service to celebrate Rhetta�s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Cartersville First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Samples officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Relay for Life c/o www.tinyurl.com/wattsfamily.



The family will receive friends from 4 � 9 p.m. on Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
