Rhonda Blackwell

Ms. Rhonda Angles Blackwell, age 45, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born on November 18, 1971 in Rome, Georgia and was the daughter of Julia Dennis Angles Vermillion and the late Ronnie Angles.

Ms. Blackwell was a member of Cross Point City Church and was employed by Belk as a stocking clerk. She lived for her grandchildren and had a tremendous amount of love for anyone who would allow her to love them. She was a huge Falcon fan and also enjoyed going to the beach. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Gina Ramsey; her grandparents, Edward and Beatrice Angles and William and Mary Dennis.

Survivors include her mother, Julia Vermillion; her son, Doyce Morgan Green III and wife, Felicia and her son, Joshua Green; her grandchildren, Jaydin, Braxton and Bella Green; her siblings, Charles Holley and wife, Elissa; her sister, Virginia Holley; her half- brothers, Ronnie, Daniel and Edward Angles; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend James Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 1:30 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richie Seckinger, Brian Johnson, Trevor Mooney, Christian Burton, Sabastian Burton and Daniel Burton. Gaige Gravitt will serve as honorary pallbearer.
