Mr. Richard L. Lambert, 77, of White, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, surrounded by his family, at his residence. Born November 29, 1936, in Pine Mountain, Georgia, he was the son of the late Daniel Jefferson Lambert and the late Lee Edna Broach Lambert.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Colbert and Louise Estes. Mr. Lambert is a member of Christian Fellowship Church. He is retired from Lockheed Air Terminal with thirty years of service. He was known for his great sense of humor and never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Grace Lambert of White, Georgia; two daughters, Beth Lambert Kosiba of Gainesville and Donna Lambert Orberson of Dahlonega; two sons, Larry Jefferson Lambert of White and Jason Evans of Acworth; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Jody Cagle and the Reverend Dale Brewer officiating.
