Richard Miskey

Mr. Richard W. Miskey, 76, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 16, 1937, he was the son of the late John Charles Miskey and the late Edith Szinko Miskey.
Mr. Miskey was employed as an Engineer with TRW before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding motorcycles. He played the steel guitar in many country and western bands over the years.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Lori Vanyo Miskey of Cartersville; his daughter, Vivienne C. Lively of Cartersville; his sister, Vivienne Balazs of Walton Hills, Ohio; and three grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Bartow Resourse Office, 140 Douglas Street, Cartersville, Ga. 30120 or Amedisys Hospice, 12 Belton Place SE, Cartersville, Ga. 3012 in memory of Mr. Miskey.
