Mr. Robert Steven Corbin, age 41, of Cumming, GA, died September 8, 2009 in the Phillipines.
Mr. Corbin was born in Floyd County, GA on October 14, 1967, son of Robert Lewis Corbin and Melba Lingerfelt Corbin. He had lived in Rome and Floyd County most of his life moving to Cumming, GA in February, 1991 and then moving to the Phillipines in January, 2009. He was a 1986 graduate of Coosa High School and attended Floyd Junior College and Devry University. Mr. Corbin was a member of New Armuchee Baptist Church. He was employed by Deckers Restaurant in Cumming, GA.
Survivors include his parents, Robert Lewis and Melba Corbin of Cumming, GA; a brother, Bryan Corbin of Marietta, GA and a nephew Cody Corbin of Cumming, GA.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 3:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Holsomback officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Oaknoll Chapel.
