Robert "Bj" Dean Piatt, Jr.

Robert "B.J." Piatt, Jr., 80, of White, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born March 21, 1945, in Sidney, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert Dean Piatt, Sr. and the late Betty Jane Weitzel Piatt. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Piatt; sister, Betsy Jo Piatt; and sister, Kathy Piatt.

B.J. was a US Navy veteran where he served honorably. He pastored several churches with his wife Rosemary by his side.

B.J. is survived by his son, Paul J. Piatt (Nina); daughters, Robin Piatt and Donna Jo Pierson Tam; stepdaughters, Pam Cooksey and Lori McIntire (Scott); grandchildren, Nate Stimson, Justin Stimson (Jessie), Brittney Stimson, Aidan Piatt, Ryland Piatt, Morgan Ritter, Madison Ritter, and Logan Fricker; great-grandchildren, Ariel Stimson, Summer Stimson, Dominic Ritter, Ares Stimson, Emily Stimson, and Titan Stimson; great-great grandchild, Angelo Stimson; brothers, Larry Piatt, Ronnie Piatt, and Jim Piatt; and sister, Mary Piatt.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with David Gessaman officiating. Family and friends are welcome 12:00p.m.-1:30p.m. prior to the service for visitation. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in White, Georgia.
