**Obituary for Robert "Danny" Henderson**
**October 22, 1954 – July 18, 2026**
Robert "Danny" Henderson, a devoted family man and a beloved member of the Cartersville, GA community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18th, 2026. Born on October 22nd, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, Robert spent his life embracing the values of family, sportsmanship, and music.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Henderson, with whom he shared many cherished years. He was a proud father to his daughters, Jessica Cady and her husband, Richard Sr., and Sarah Long and her husband, Josh. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Johnathan, Richard Jr., Toccoa, Grayson, and Noah, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
He is also survived by his brother, Richard Henderson, and his sister-in-law, Janet, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins who remember him fondly. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Lt. Col. William Henderson, USAF, his mother, Ruth Henderson, and several siblings, all of whom he held close in his heart.
A charismatic personality who never missed a UGA or Falcons football game, Danny was also a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves. He had a deep passion for classic rock music, often filling his home with favorite tunes while fondly fussing at his cats, a pastime that brought laughter and warmth to those around him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A memorial service to celebrate Danny's life will be held at a later date, allowing those who loved him the opportunity to honor his memory together.
