Robert Johnny Hufstetler Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Johnny Hufstetler Jr., affectionately known as Robby, who departed this world on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at the age of 51. Robby was born in warmth and light on Thursday, June 20th, 1974, and throughout his time with us, he shared that warmth with everyone he encountered.

Robby was a man who embraced life's simple pleasures and had a unique knack for spreading joy, often lighting up a room with his humor and infectious smile. His love for fishing, camping, and enjoying bonfires were just small pieces of the layered, loving man he was. Known for his close bond with his family, Robby treasured playing Xbox with his nephews, indulging in horror films, and above all, cherishing the time spent with his loved ones.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren Coursey Hufstetler; his devoted sister, Mandy Hufstetler Crone; and his loving mother, Sandy Frix. Robby’s special bond with his brother-in-law, Shane Crone, and the joy he found in his role as uncle to his special nieces and nephews Tyler Crone, JJ Payne, Tommy Payne, Destiny Payne, Jax Payne, Drake Payne, Krista Payne, and Nell Payne, reflected his generous spirit.

Robby was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Hufstetler and Ruby Waits; Earnest Frix and Nell Kilgore; his father Johnny Hufstetler; and his special sister Christy Hufstetler. Though he has left us too soon, his memory lives on through the countless lives he touched and the legacy of love and laughter he left behind.

Arrangements for Robby have been lovingly entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. As we gather to celebrate and honor Robby's life, we hold on to the enduring mark he leaves on each of us—a reminder of the beauty found in simple joys and the boundless love he shared.

May his soul rest in peace, surrounded by the laughter and warmth he so freely gave to others.
