Robert Donald Ivester, 89, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on August 20, 2021 at Green Park Senior Care Home.
Born on May 28, 1932, he was the son of the late Lewis Ivester and the late Valree Moore Ivester. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Howard Ivester, and his sister, Doris Coker.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Ivester; sons, Eugene Ivester (Cyndi) and Greg Ivester; daughters Camelia Ortiz (Carlos) and Kemberly Addis (Steven); and grandchildren, Christopher Ivester (Jen) and Hannah Addis.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on September 7, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Addis, Gene Moore, Michael DeMore, Carlos Ortiz, Jack Smith, and Todd Jessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/
