Jake Hufstetler

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Jacob "Jake" Hufstetler, age 31, of Cartersville, GA, on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Jake was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, and friend. Born on Wednesday, July 26, 1995, in Rome, Georgia, he made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Jake is survived by his loving wife, Christy Hufstetler; his cherished daughters, Lillie Ann Hufstetler and Angela Carr; his caring father, Ronnie Hufstetler; his devoted brother, Jason Hufstetler; his beloved grandmother, Betty Hufstetler; and his nephew, Jeremy Hufstetler. He leaves behind a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many dear friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Susie Hufstetler; stepmother, Robin Hufstetler; special friend, Kaitlyn Carr; his grandparents, Robert and Mary Collins; grandfather, Jesse Hufstetler; and his uncle, Dillard Hufstetler.

Jake was a passionate individual who embraced life to the fullest. His love for music was expressed through his talent as an accomplished guitar player, often enjoying hours of playing alongside his father. Jake also had a knack for working on bicycles, a hobby he shared with his brother, Jason. His love of life and kindness touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jake's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Jeremy Clark. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Following the service, Jake will be laid to rest at Providence Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with expenses can be made to Mrs. Betty Hufstetler. Arrangements are being handled by Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Everyone who knew Jake loved him, and his memory will continue to bring joy and inspiration in all of our hearts. He will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and music will live on.
