Robert , Jr.

Robert Walter Mealor Jr., 52, of Cartersville passed away Friday, December 23, 2011. Born November 16, 1959 he was a son of the late Robert Walker Mealor Sr. and Rose Pearl Burnette Mealor.

Mr. Mealor was of the Baptist faith and a very hard worker who was committed to any task at hand. Along with his parents, Mr. Mealor was preceded in death by a daughter, April Michelle Mealor, a brother, Mack Ezell, and a sister Gertrude Young.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years Kathryn Paula Mealor; two sons and daughter-in-law Joseph and Nikki Mealor, and Charles Aron Mealor; a daughter, Shawna Mealor; one grandson Jesse Ryan Mealor; brothers and sister-in-law, George Mealor, B.J. and Shirley Mealor, Dean and Donna Mealor; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Bagget, Joan Moss, Carolyn and Rodney Welchel, and Peggy and Melvin Wright; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday December 30, 2011 at Oakhill Baptist Cemetery in Rydal, GA.

The family will receive friends from 9:30a.m. until 10:30a.m. Friday, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
