Robert Lee

Mr. Robert "Bob" Lee, age 70, of 668 Old Allatoona Rd., Cartersville, died on Friday, July 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, Alabama on Nov. 22, 1936 to the late Dewey Forney Lee and Clara Calhoun Lee. He attended First Baptist Church of Emerson and was last employed by General Motors. Preceding him in death are his parents and his brother, Billy Lee.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Rilla Sloan Lee; his two sons, Ronald Lee and Russell Lee all of Cartersville; a grandson, Ryan Lee; and by his two sisters, Jani Jenkins and Mary Couch.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Dr. Warner Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Monday at 10:15 a.m. and will include: Gary Keys, Jesse Keeling, Ronnie Meadows, Charles Terry, Charles Gross and Roger Henry. Bill Roberts, Henry Jordan, John Rampley and Max Maulden will serve as honorary pallbearers.
