Robert Womack

Mr. Robert Womack, 80, of Cartersville, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Floyd Medical Center. Born in Hollywood, Alabama on August 16, 1935, he was the son of the late Lemuel Womack and Ethel Mae Sinclair Womack.
Mr. Womack was of the Baptist faith. He retired as a foreman from the Bartow Co. Water Department and was a veteran who served his country in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and two great grandchildren, Cooper and Preslie Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Womack; his children, Brenda Cochran (Garry), Pamela W. Smith, Billy Womack (Tammy); grandchildren, Megan and Brad Williams, Angela and Joshua Kiker, Kendall Womack, Bailey Cochran; great grandson, Parker Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Boatfield officiating, Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
